Top-down POI infiltration means breaching a building's roof and clearing downward instead of following the intended ground-floor path. It skips most sleeper volumes and trigger plates, but it also skips the loot rooms those paths lead to, and dropping into an unscouted room can wake several volumes at once. Scout the roof access, cut a hole one block at a time, and keep a ladder or frame block ready for the way back up.
