Map Download Stuck or Slow

When players are stuck on Downloading World or the map download never finishes, the server usually has bandwidth, disk, or world size issues.

Quick checks

• Confirm the server finished loading the world before players join.
• Check host upload speed and avoid saturating the network with backups.
• Use smaller map sizes for public servers.
• Remove large asset mods that inflate the download size.

Common causes

Cause	Fix
Slow upload or packet loss	Test from another network and reduce server load.
Huge map or custom assets	Use a smaller world or lighter mod pack.
Client cache corruption	Delete the local cached world for that server.
