Visualizing No-Build Regions on a Server

Clear boundaries prevent base griefing and POI blocking. Show players where they can and cannot build.
Built-in tools
- Use claim sizes and protected trader zones to reserve space automatically.
- Set
LandClaimSize and LandClaimDeadZone so claims don’t overlap tightly in crowded areas.
Map-based approach
- Export the world to a static map (e.g., KingGen/Nitrogen previews or Allocs map tiles).
- Draw overlays for city hubs, trader buffers, and event areas, then publish the image in your Discord or MOTD link.
In-game communication
- Post coordinates of no-build rectangles (e.g., “No building within 150m of traders or POIs marked red on the map”).
- Use waypoints or bedroll/claim rules for community areas like markets or horde bases.
Enforcement helpers
- ServerTools/CSMM can warn players when they try to place blocks in protected regions.
- Periodically patrol with
cm mode to ensure hub roads and traders stay clear.
