Server Not Showing in Browser
Tags: server, browser, visibility, troubleshooting
Your server is running but not visible in the public list. This is usually a visibility flag, blocked ports, or EOS registration failure.
Quick checklist
- Confirm the server is running and fully loaded in the logs.
- Set
ServerVisibility to 2 (public).
- Open ports 26900-26903 UDP/TCP. For crossplay, open 26900-26905.
- Match
EACEnabled and CrossplayEnabled to your server type.
- Test direct connect by IP:port to confirm reachability.
Validate serverconfig.xml
| Setting | Expected | Why it matters |
| ServerVisibility | 2 (public) | Required for public listing. |
| ServerName | Unique name | Duplicate names can be filtered out. |
| EACEnabled | true for vanilla | Mismatches block some clients. |
| CrossplayEnabled | true only if needed | Uses EOS registration and extra ports. |
Check EOS registration
- Look for "Eos Registration Failed" in the server log.
- If present, open 26900-26905 UDP/TCP and restart the server.
- If you do not need crossplay, set
CrossplayEnabled to false.
Client-side filters
- Clear filters, refresh, and search by exact server name.
- Try the Friends or History tabs.
- Use direct connect to validate the server even if the list fails.
